Carolyn Sechler is the CEO of Sechler CPA PC, a virtual CPA firm. She and her team all work from home serving over 300 nonprofit organizations. She is an animated speaker on nonprofit topics, a writer/editor and technology nut. Currently, she writes for a number of professional nonprofit publications and is an editorial advisor for the Journal of Accountancy as well as Nonprofit Agendas. She also serves as a curriculum consultant to ASU's Nonprofit Management Institute and will be instructing a class for NMI on Sustainable Practices.
Carolyn also serves on several nonprofit boards including Secretary/Treasurer, Native American Basketball Invitational Foundation, Treasurer, Alzheimer's Prevention and Research Foundation and Chairman, UMOM Social Enterprise Committee.
Ms. Sechler is an avid "volunteer vacationer" to learn more about various cultures, teach and support the mission at the destination and learn more about NGOs and compliance in the countries she visits. In the past few years her travels have taken her to Japan, Ghana, Hungary, the Yucatan Peninsula, Iceland, Peru, and recently Cuba.
She and her team can be found online most any time of day.
Carolyn also volunteers extensively for illiteracy, children's needs, technology, and accounting projects.
